1. Written by TexasApts on April 13, 2012 from reston, virginia, US I get so tired of anytime anyone has ONE complaint with their management company, they send it to the whold world! FYI people, in 2011 RENTS WENT UP AN AVERAGE OF $150.00 ALL OVER THE AUSTIN METRO AREA. Obviously none of you are reading about the recession and the fact that Austin's apartments are almost 98% full?
2. Written by FML on February 1, 2012 from san antonio, texas, US They Really screwed up I hope that we as people can come together and cause NOISE against this company. I really enjoyed my apartment. I now have to move because the price raising. The had a after school program for the children here that was amazing. Greystar immediately got rid of this program in the middle of the school year. Kids have no where to play accept maybe in front of your door and ride there bikes in the parking lot. I will never recommend this company to anyone and will gladly turn away if I come across this company again! By the way I love Karma shes a good friend of mine. I hope you see her soon. ![]() |
3. Written by Brian D on September 2, 2011 from austin, texas, US Yeah *** greystar they hit my brother with a 200plus rent increase at a different complex than myself, and I just got hit with a 220 increase on a 600 square foot apartment. People should speak up, I have been renting for a long time and it is much better to keep a happy tenant than constantly shuffle. This should really be illegal, a 33% increase is insane
4. Written by SmartConsumerRevolt on August 26, 2011 from dallas, texas, US WOW! Madre you keep popping up like a little Greystar puppet!! I think it's clear to ANYONE reading these posts that you work for these swindlers! Of course you'd be speaking up for what a wonderful company deathstar is... since you're probably on their payroll and from my own expierence, anyone on Greystars payroll does little to nothing but help deathstar swindle folks like us!!
5. Written by Lee on August 5, 2011 from chantilly, virginia, US Graystar has just taken over my complex. Now there is no emergncy maintenance and the rent has gone up. If you choose to renew your lease you must resubmit another application(why). This company sounds SCANDALOUS ![]()
6. Written by RentControl is always bad on May 24, 2011 from austin, texas, US The real estate economy doesn't exist in a vacuum--- one action in the market affects the rest of it. Rent controls (creating a sub-market unit) for some people--- simply will make rents go up for the non-rent control units much higher.
7. Written by greystar sucks on April 23, 2011 from philadelphia, pennsylvania, US Greystar is known to destroy communities.
8. Written by Madre on April 1, 2011 from richardson, texas, US I live in a Greystar apt complex and I think they are wonderful. I did a lot of checking and they are the #3 property management company in the nation. They explained to me that the rent was a special only, and that at the end of my lease it could go up, depending on lease rates at that time. I have the option of renewing at the new rate or re-negotiating my lease. So no surprises with me. I think they are great!
9. Written by andy on January 20, 2011 from philadelphia, pennsylvania, US i have done some checking--this greystar is one of the worst companies there are-- i used to live in a good community--but alas when greystar took over forget it--they fired all the maintenance people and dont do maintenance anymore--we have a burned out building that justs sits there--i would just say move--they want to suck everything out of the properties and let them go to ruins--greystar cant exist without our rents so like me just go elsewhere that is my opinion--greystar does not even have a customer care line--so bottom line is they dont care--so forget it and move on--too bad they are ruing formally good communities.
